Aurora makes autonomous Safety Case Framework public

Autonomous driving developer Aurora has released details of the Safety Case Framework it has developed, which it says can be applied to both autonomous trucks and passenger vehicles.

The company uses the safety case-based approach to evaluate when its vehicles are safe enough to operate on public roads, and to assess that they are not creating an unreasonable risk to motor vehicle safety.

Mixel Achieves ISO 26262 for Automotive Functional Safety and ISO 9001 Certification for IP Quality Management System

SAN JOSE, Calif.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Mixel, Inc. today announced that it has achieved ISO 9001 Quality Management System Certification by DEKRA Certification, Inc. and ISO 26262 certification for automotive functional safety by SGS-TUV Saar GmbH.
